Hi my names ben ive got a td wagon its a 1600 and i just brought a to3 turbo off a vl for it and im just woundering what i have to the motor to hold up for the turbo if sum1 could get back to me bout it, it would be great

lol, bought not brought



custom exhaut manifold, and u can run the stock engin on low boost,
or run stronger decompresion pistons for higher boost,
u want carbi or efi? blow threw or suck threw??

u cant just ask what needs to be done to turbo my car

Decomp. or custom forged pistons, new rings, o-ring the block, copper head gasket, port and polish, all that shit if you want high boost. I hope your not gonna expect to be able to put a turbo onto the existing manifolds :S Go and try and source a piazza turbo exhaust manifold. Plus you gotta work out about a cooler, whether your gonna water cool it or get a FMIC, if you are then you can't use a suck threw carby set up. If your using a carby set up your gonna need an airbox for the blow through carby set up which i think people use the 34ADM carby for.

i wanted to run about 10 pound boost and im using a suck thru setup
