cause the amount you pay for oe its almost not worth it
$100+ for a tacho
really may as well buy a small one and mount it on your steering wheel or something
though i wouldnt mind a tacho dash so i could posible sell it one day |

| i bought mine off yobbo and did that. cant remember what it cost but it was less then 40 bucks |
