Sorry my mistake,
The gem i bought is a tf sedan (82) i just checked it then. Theres a shitload of things wrong with it, and its starting to worry me if i should keep going with it or not. Lets c, the steering column is buggered, i need a dash (like the gauge bit), rust in the pass. and drivers side floor pan, need a new front right fender, the roof is dinted and needs to be smoothed up as well as the back right side fender, i have no right hand rear tail light for it, plus its a bit dinted there as well!!

My question is, are these parts fairly easy to replace? Wheres a good place to go for these parts? I have cheacked nearly everywhere around my region (FNQ) but cant find shit all. Do i have to be loaded with cash to complete this gem??

You really have to be willing to spend no matter wot. Its not like u can "restore" a car for under 3000, did you think it was going to be a few hours hard work and a cupla hundred bucks?
You dont have to be "loaded with cash" but you really do have to evaluate how much you want to spend, and whether or not in your mind it will be worth it.
And what do you Mean by "complete this gem " and also how much were you looking at spending in the first place.

Depends on if you wanna go for the 'nice but stock' or 'nice but rice' look.

Depending on what you paid for it, you could:
Fix the stuff thats worng with it, respray it, chuck a set of 15's on it, lower it, put on exhaust and extractors.
or
Buy anther TE/F/G with good body and make 1 car out of two.

I did this (but made 1 out of 3) and I pretty much restored a TX Gemini for around $1300. $1175 of that was for a rebuilt motor and the rest of the money was for seat covers and a gearstick knob. The bits out of the TE wreck and the TD coupe were very good and replaced the shagged bits in the TX.

Thats just my $0.02

Pavlos.
