Would have been a more worthwhile post after he'd done it so he could elaborate and say how it was done, any problems, and how it performs.

not too bad a post be careful with the presure plate tension as you can break clutch cables if it's too silly,

personally i have a daikin extreme clutch, its basically a sports clutch recomended for use with a turbo'd gem, i love it and have never encountered any problems. its a nice tight clutch with heaps of grab and isn't to "button like" so it's stil very good for everyday street use.
if you want a more serious race clutch you can get them from daikin, centreforce, rpm, and other good clutch brands.
you can get a hydulic conversion kit from Rod Hatfield at CRS, if you need the extra strength and duribility that a cable can't offer.

Howbout a 2.8 diesel clutch on a modified 2lt flywheel. Pulls second gear cooks no worries (no slip).
