its a piston motor.

and they are good in a gemini but they are one of the worst souning motors of all time

there the same as sr20 bit older tho. soud pritty much the same a sr20.

there 151kw stock and can run up to 400hp on stock internals. there bulit proof

fj20...is a relatively old nissan 2liter motor..as gene says bullet proof to an extent .... up the boost = head separation from block much like the g series isuzu motor doz
..the sr-20 newer lighter version has that problem solved , but they are notorius for snapping rockers...HKS make rockers thou:)

best motor ever made though.

Just got a 3" exhaust put on my DR30 skyline (FJ20det) and boy does it fly. It feels like it's twice as fast and wheel spins alot more.
