my mate wants me to get a gt40 coil but im a sceptic and thought id ask you boys before i rushed out and bought myself one of these babies
so what are the ups and downs of the newer and bigger coil and what are the effects, if power gain how much!

No power gain unless compression is increased. My mate wants me to get one too, but I told him to go fuck himself!
He's a real asshole, always telling me what to do. Why cant he just leave me alone, and let me live my life, the way I want to. I'm sick of his shit. I've decided we're not mates anymore. |

My mate put one on his car after fitting a webber, the reason being that the webber choked the plugs a bit and the bigger coil gave some more kick. The plugs kept getting fouled and such.
works great now.

i put one in my car and noticed that i got a bit more top end power, but that was also after putting in bosch super 4 spark plugs and 8mm top gun leads. |
