have the disc's been machined? if not then get em machined. also, if they are new pads and have been machined, get ur hose and pour water down between the disc and the pads, will wash all the break dust out, i do it to mine all the time, just let me dry before u drive.

matty

Be cautioned that the $15 is for a 'you remove, supply, re-fit' basis. The cost will double for a drive in drive away kind of deal, and try to steer clear of on-car machine lathes. Purely a personal opinion as i have used both personally and frequently in the past. I found the on-car to be less acurate and a band-aid solution. But remember - i said that was only a personal opinion.

yeh ive got no probs with removing the disks myself.
all it takes is my dads trolley jack under the engine beam. and a few spanners too undo a few nuts...

but see how the hose treatment works 1st
only if supercheap would sell some spray on stuff that stops squeaky disk brakes

Supacheap do sell brakeclean which gets rid of some of the noise, have you put on new pads/disks, if so have you bedded them in properly??? If not i'd do that first, ususally fixes the prob, if you dunno how to bed them in i can tell ya, but i'm not posting it if you do... can't be stuffed writing it up...

gene... maybe this spray is a special hi-temp formula and can handle the heat that the disks rise too
