new mags/offset

hi guys, another newbie post. can anyone explain offset to me, and tell me what offset a te sedan has? i wanted to get a new set of mags, and a few poeple i have talked to say gems have a dodgy offset for the new designs coming out, caus they are mostly for fwd cars.

also, anyone know the legal size limit of mags plus rubber on the gold coast, or queensland?

yeah there offset sucks if you want mags talk to gene fj20det.
