hi people. the singer in my bands brother has a shit heap of paint his mate gave to him to paint his falcon fag wagon. it's acrylic based midnight blue wiht purple pearl. two quick questions, can you paint a car with acrylic?

and is there any sites detailing how to paint a car with techniques and all that type of shit, and surface prep, and rust removal.

my brother has an air compresser,and i was gonna buy a paint gun kit from supa cheap for $300. is it worth it?

also, it seems the most rusted area of the gem is the fuckin battery holder in the engine bay. can u buy replacement ones? or is it simple to have someone knock one up?

get a gragory's spraypainting book. U get what u pay 4 when it comes to guns, if your only doing a 1 off job a cheapie will do at around $100.
