a g-SOHC would be close to valve bouncing in 1st befor it even reaches boosT??

what exhaust size is yours andrew? what rpm in 1st does boost start?
does it reach full boost in 1st?

what it was able to rev to 9000rpm i was looking at a 1600
that bill sherwood is building a 1600 with 240hp@9500rpm
it is a twin cam motor but what if the gemini motor was built to handle these sort of conditions
not likely but there may be a chance
and if not i will agree with the fullyyy siiiikkk raccer comment

I can get a G161 to rev to about 8k, but it takes a bit of work??? and only with a turbo pushing it all in...

.6 exhaust with bigger wheel.
hits boost in 1st then wheel spin, 2nd wheel spin, 3rd wheel spin. so yeah i'd have to say it hits full boost in 1st.

3rd gear feels like the gear to be in tho. it pulls fuckin hard about 3800rpm. i reckon i've got a fairly good combination under the bonnet.
