Hey, is anyone running one of these units and how much did it set you back? Are there easy to install and it is easyer than fucking around by making a custom electric dizzy?
Thanks, Josh |

Are they sold as a bolt in kit? If so, then they must be very easy to install. Just bolt in and set timing. Imagine they are about $350 though.

Try $600 they are fairly easy to install and come with instructions. If you have a little bit of nouse you could do it yourself. |

If its a black box system, then the distributor inputs to the box, the box then outputs to the coil whatever you program it to, so you probably tell the box the timing you want and it takes car of it, I suppose like an analogue computer.
I thought it was just a trigger you were talking about though, to replace the points. For another a bit more, you could get a fully programmable Haltech ignition computer with heaps more options.
