I've only ever see a TD and TX gem on the inside, but I'm led to believe that theres a different dash in the newer models? anyone have pics of this one, and what are the differences?
thanks, zep

tx has side vents as well, te only have centre, lates model dash isnt a bolt in job and to do properly requires removing the windscreen and unpicking all the spot welds along the metal behind the dash and welding corresponding models in, a lot of effort to do right

I wasn't planning on a transplant, just now that I have no gem after the write off, I'm thinking of getting a new model one, just weighing up the options, and checking out the differences

with a spot weld drill Razz, the metal parts that u undo the welds from are slightly different for the different dashes , u can make up and weld brackets to mount the different dashes but heard it doesnt look the same. lok15 has done this a few times if i rememeber so try and get his attention for more info.
