Just wanted to know anyone know how to install a cig lighter? I got the hole for it alright, is it just the red (+) lead to 12V from the battery and the black one to a ground? Where can i take the 12V from??? The stereo?
With a kill switch where and wat cable do u put it on?? do u just cut the lead and splice it together making the switch part of the circuit? Thnx lads |

For the kill switch you run a wire from the negative side of your coil through the switch and then to earth. This takes the power away from your points. Cutting the lead and splicing it togeather with a switch in it is a great way to burn your car down
For the ciggie lighter there is a proper wire there for it. |

Thnx man. I finally got the Cigi lighter in, i hooked the light up to the same 12v supply as my stereo so it only comes on with the Acsessories.Should this b ok?
Anyone else got any views ideas on the kill switch, or has anyone had probs with it?? |

Are you just talking kill switch for the engine, or immobiliser switch??? Dunno if you're still checking this but ask me again if you are... |

Its just basically an on/off switch that i want to install in the circuit somewhere to stop someone starting the car if they havent turned it on. But wat circuit? thats my question. I was also thinking, is there something on the fuel tank u can put the switch onto (like a circuit) to stop the car starting. hope u get the idea. thnx man |
