I have a fully reconditioned head for sale. Fits models with air pump ...TE, TF & TG. Head bead blasted, new brass water connection at front of head, head surfaced, valves reseated etc, springs checked and shimmed, pressure tested. Perfect head ready to bolt on. I have receipt for over $300, sale price $200 firm. Melbourne

whoever did ur reco must be rippin u off, usual price are, surface $30, valve grind $35, pressure test $40, new welch plugs and brass fitting isnt much maybe $20

Cost to reco head is broken up as follows $35 to bead blast head, $59 to pressure test, $20 for welsh plugs supply only, $11 to supply brass water tube, $178 to fit/ream guides, cut seats, cut valves including 3 angle cut on seats and valves, shave head, pressure check springs, shim as required to even out tension, fit water pipe and assemble.

Anyone who thinks they can get a full reco head done properly for $120 is kidding themselves. Head shops don't provide free labour!!

A reco head for only $200 is a bargain. Because it has the air holes, it is the only legal head you can fit to a TE/TF/TG.
