SOLEX OR OTHER?

Personal opinion i guess.
The drivers lock has packed up in the gem (it is a 'CAR SHOW security locks' lock. it wont turn...my old locks in my old car did it as well . that brand in my old car is ARC or AIC.

So i looked at a couple of stores Rocca bro.s inclusive.

they have three types. - first one is real cheap - i wont bother but they were about 40-50 bucks.

the next was the same that are on the car now.

and then there was solex for 90 (3 lock set all of them)

So i guess im asking do solex locks pack up and freeze like they have now?? (put the key in and they refuse to turn)

Im asking coz i dont wanna pay money and then for them to do it again would piss me off. coz its a cunt to put the lock-thingos in.

So what is it fellAs or gellAs

do what i was gonna do, get keyless entry and bog up the holes, respray, new set of bbs centrecaps and ya done

..or just get the solex's i got them about 2 years ago for $90 aswell, i put them in myself, and i havnt had any troubles at all yet.

When u get solex locks, u get a tear drop shaped piece of metal that clips onto the lock then to the rod, or some shit. Dont use the ones that u get in the pack, use the standard gemini ones. But ure gonna have to grind one side down a bit so its thin enough to clip in the slot on the lock itself. Aparently this makes the locks heaps smoother and they dont get stuck like the ones u got now.
