Someone was making a joke the other day about putting a v12 in a gem and i was just thinking the other night, has anyone thought about using a jag v12 motor and putting that in. It was just a thought, i got no idea how much they are worth or even if they would fit into a gem...

Jag motors and parts are expensive as, which is the main reason a lot of the motors, once stuffed end up bein replaced by holden 308's, for the dollars involved it really wouldn't even be worth considering...

Not true, if you got a Jag V12 it'd be similar in length to a straight six, eg ford 4L, or Holden 202, but the one in the 55 Chev, um i think you'd be drivin from the boot...

Hahaha.... That just brought back memories of when i was a little tyke (about 10yo). My old lady owned a Sigma, and back then the servo's had driveway service. Every time we rocked up to da drive-way dude she'd say "Yeah matey, just check tha petrol and fill tha oil". The look on the dudes face was priceless, coz she was dead serious. Ahhhh memories. Ever since then, i've always looked at da Sigma as a oil munchin, runnin on da sniff of a petty fume, rusted bucket o' shite. Then not so long ago, a dude rocked up at my work in an 11 sec Sigma. hehehe it took me a half hour to figure out why he went 2 da trouble.
Aaaah well, dat's my useless ramblings for da week. : o )

i think everybody has at least one funny memory of a s(t)igma. my mate had one as a paddock busher; it ended up with no roof, doors welded shut and in a ditch!

my mum had a sigma. A Chrysler Sigma. The roof lining fell off to we wrote stuff on the foam that was glued to the roof. They would'nt look to bad with some mags and a lowering job.

Cheers
