Retractable Rear Seatbelts

Has anyone put retractable seat-belts in the back of their sedan? If so, how did you do it, what seat-belts did you use and where did you mount the retractors?

RB gemini's have them. Get 1 from 1 of them? Or maybe a old style commodore?

in my mazda it would be pretty much the same as a wagon just bolt them to the floor behind the seat

i would be very cautious when playing with seatbelts!! u do realise that modding factory safety equipment is an instant defect?

My 84TG SL has retractable seatbelts in the rear????
Im 99.999% sure there original. Theyre mounted to the parcel tray.

TF and TG sedans had them as factory fitment

Yes, unless you get an engineer to look over them, which I was planning on doing

Was SL/X only, they mount to the parcel shelf where there is a little piece of reinforcing steel underneath.

Must have been an option cos Ive had 2 with them. They all even have the mounting points on the shelf for them.
