If u r porting the combustion ports, try 2 get hold of some old valves to save from accidently grinding the valve seats. Also try to study da water-jacket path 2 save hitting it and ruining your head.
If u r gonna match-port your head to your manifolds, then get some 'bearing blue' from any auto store like Cheapa Auto, Super Cheap etc. Put it on da face of appropriate manifold, and bolt it up 2 da head, then unbolt it and u will have a nice blue section to show where to port on da head. If u really want 2 be a cheap arse, then a couple of normal blue pens will suffice - you can cut them up and use da ink out of them. But da ink doesn't stick or stay anywhere near as well as Bearing Blue does.
They r old porting tricks used by alot of head guru's.
