RODEO ENGINE!

what model number are the rodeo engines people put in gems!! and what year models ! like all the different types any help would be great thanks! and would it be better buying a rodeo engine then buying a 2 liter and spending a bit on it? thanks

2L's are a rodeo engine aswell

rodeo engines: 2L-G200, 4ZE1-2.6L, 4ZD1-2.3L

i assume you are talking about the 2.6, mines out of a 91' model rodeo

mine ive spent around 6000 (turbod, aftermarket everything, done the conversion myself)

a rough guess using stock computer etc etc around 3000-3500 if you do the work yourself

it all depends on how much you can pick and engine up for. i bought mine for 1100 (engine only) and was quoted 2500 with box and computer

but isn't the gemini box the same as the rodeo (don't the gem gearbox hook up to it?)?

yeah but you need a custom clutch and pressure plate made, otherwise it wont select gears
