I have a 1985 Rodeo with a G200 and 5 speed. The car is way underpowered and the ratios are way to short for my liking. I want to throw a gemini 5 speed into it but I dont know if the ratios are any different in the gemini box. Can someone help me please. Does anyone know if the diff ratios are different on the rodeo compared to the gemini and would the centre be a better option to change in order to change my ratios. Right now I cant go past 120km/h without the engine screaming its head off. Also would I need a gemini gearbox with a coarse spline or a fine spline and will the gemini gearbox bolt straight up. Please help. Thanks. |

Not certain, but don't utes generally have different ratios in their diffs for towing/pulling power. I'd say you prob will be in the diff gearing... |
