im gettin my gemmy painted this weekend (lol dont know if ne of u guys care but dunno thought id share ..its my 1st car so im pretty rapped.
im painting it that blue they paint R34 gtr skylines and the sti wrx's (medium light metallic blue)i bought a set of mint crx front seats for 300 the other day , im doin the interior light grey (ive already sprayed the dash black along with all the plastics ,its a stock 1.6 (cause im nealy 18 i havnt got the money to work it cause im paying 4 everything myself )so 4 me show before go ,im gettin 17's(chrome) 4 my bday with low profiles oh yeah im going to color code the bumbers and the grill and paint the strip around the rear light and the boot light chrome 2,>>>>>>>CAN NE1 TELL ME HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST TO BUY A G200 AND FIT IT ??<<<............. THAT WOULD BE A HELP as i dont know many people in the car business and hot gem is a good source 4 info (oh yeah 1 last thing i got a VDO central locking kit 4 $100 brand new in the box CAN ne1 tell me if they are hard to install??) i also pulled the AIRCON out of my tg (does ne1 rekkon they are worth keeping ????????) everyone i have spoke 2 said they make the gem run 2 hard and i think it takes 2 much room up in the engine bay?? ne opinions .. SORRY bout the long post ne feed back welcome.. gemmy power peace out ..Dave |

hey dave, how much is it costing you for the paint job??? have u prepared it yourself or are they sanding back and everything?? just interested in pricings for a respray.
Apart from that i got nuthin to say

a bloke is painting it for me i know , he is doin it for 1100 including materials so its ok on the pocket , its his hobbie and he likes doin it so it makes it worthwhile for both of us !  |

my brother sold a g200 which was bored 40 thou, had all big staino valves, injection, fj20 injectors , custom fuel rail, electronic dizzy, custom plenum etc for $400 (blown up)
then he sold a stock one for $300 in good running order
personaly i wouldnt pay any more than $400 for one
keep the air con as they are pretty rare |
