i just put 17 inch wheels on my gemini if the speedo is showing 60kmh what am i really going

depends on the size of the tyres aswell i think. the overall diameter from the tyre has to be the same as the overall diameter of the stock tyres.

17" with 215 17/45 doing 100km/h u are really doing 104.4km/h

easiest way is get somone with a new stock car get them to drive at say 60 then drive along side them and c what speed your doing and work it out from there thats what brother done. he got pulled over by cops for doin 124 in a 100 zone said he was doin 100 on his guage all depends on the car u really have to check it out yaself

if you have a 40 profile tyre, then you are doing 60. a 185x75x13 has the same rolling diameter as a 205x40x17
