Hey
I have a G200 with extractors, 2inch sports exhaust, ported head, bigger cam, balanced and i am running the shithouse nikki carby. just after a rough estimate of how much gain in power i will get if i replaced the nikki with a 45mm side draft weber and got it properly tuned.
cheers

I doubt it would make a huge increase to the power figures but the most noticable thing is better throttle response and just a better feeling on the throttle mostly. |

i have a worked 1600 and i had the nikki on there for a few months then decided to go with a 32/36 down, a sidey was reccomended but couldnt find one at the time, and just with that weber it gave me a a very noticable difference in power, response etc.
im unsure of the pricing on one of those... _________________

I've got a 32/36 for my 1600 and that cost me $50 for the carbie, $35 for the adaptor plate and gaskets, $19 for the accelerator cable (inc. shipping) and about $200 to have it fitted, re-jetted, tuned on the dyno and have the inlet manifold ported. |
