Car Paint Quote

G'day,
I went and got a quote for some metallic blue paint yesterday from a paint shop in Ipswich... wondering if this price sounds good, and if anyone knows what the quality of the paint is like...

The brand name is either Unicryl or Unique Acrylic.

4L of colour
4L of primer
4L of clear
4L of stripper
20L of thinners

$315 all up

That will be enough of everything to do a car yes?

fair decent, might need more primer and thinners though, u get what u pay 4

oh and u wil need alot more thinners, iv used $50L and iv only just finished priming. lol
u find dints sand pak respray sand back respray

i used 6 lires of colour too!~ but if u dont fuck up like i did u should be O.K

You can get a lot more outta ya paints if you are prepared to mix them thin and apply carefully.

I'm hoping 4 L of primer will do my car but I'm having some doubts.

regarding painting where do u guys go to bake ya cars and what prices r the ovens approx im in melb.

hahaha- u don't gotta bake em if u spray in arcyllic which is what we use, leave 2pak to the pro's with the ovens.

You can bake Acryllic also can you not?
