I remember reading once that a guy rigged up a freezer condenser as part of his intercooler system. It worked awesome with air entering the engine at about 2-3 degrees or something. Only trouble was he had no way of running of the car without too much power loss, so he had to run it off mains and didnt have enough extension cords. LOL. Good theory though.

Hot 4s ran a little advert for a small electric fan/turbine that could give a small amount of boost 3 to 5 psi i think, if you're interested i can look it up it was in the last few months i think... Wasn't too expensive either...
