i have just put a g180 and 5spd into my early model tx, as well as full te wiring, if anyone is thinking of doing this dont make the same mistake i did, the bracket behing the cluster is different an has to either be cut or hammered pretty well for the speedo cable to work and not kink in a te cluster.

oh yeah all gemini gearboxes are diffeerent the autoboxs are anyway. u have to get the shifter when getting another gearbox out of a another gemini just in case

yea i had to move the gearbox mounts on the tunnel back to suit the late model gearbox, and the shifters are different on the boxes,,

also the spline on output shaft of the gearbox is different between TE/TF
