Which way do double row timing chain sprockets fit to the cam and crank shaft: with the marking dot facing the engine or facing the front of the car ?

cant answer your question but ive been told that double row timing chains on gem engines arnt good cos they are too heavy and they will break the guide assembly at high revs, is this bullshit cos i got one here and i dont know weather to fit it or not

went the top gear goes to the cam the is a grove in the gear That gpos to the cam and the bottom one any way i think.

They are heavier but thats becuase they are made froma billet of steel and they dont break shit. mine used to rev to 7200 and didnt break shit.

They are a good insurance policy for ur hard earned bucks
