Hey i dont know why you guys give so much shit on camiras my brother used to own one and it was r great car to drive smooth on the road fuckin more power than my gemini i understand there r pain in the ass to work on and the parts arnt cheap but there not a complete peice of shit only the carburettered 1.6 were shit the fuel injected 1.8 and 2.0 were fuckin quick and could do stand stills with both wheels spinnin with no problem. im just saying there not all shit just r little shit. Geminis have there down side aswell

the jb camira looked like a commodore so they were a nice lookin car the jds were ugly with the vl commodore lookalike front end and has any one here ever owned a camira in good condition and if not why give shit about them and also you come across a camira in good condition thats a 1.8 fuel injected it would make a stock gemini piss in handling and in power even my gemini dont you guys get pissed off with me over this i would still buy a gemy over a camira any day

i had one for a basher car! and it was SHIT HOUSE! theres no excuss to owning one! there gay!
and BTW my 1st shit bock 1600 was hella quicker than my gay camira

dont pieces start falling off them, and the headlights fill up with water etc? ive never owned one so im staying a fencesitter on the issue

Owned a Cmaira once (once I say, never again) Brought it for my girlfriend. Coming back from up the coast sitting on about 130 on the expressway when the thing gets this thump feltlike the car is jumping over itself or I had hit something big on the road. Slowed down no more noises sped up starting doing it again every 5 minutes or so. Pulled over checked everything nothing wrong. Try again. Still does it. Sit on about 70 the whole way home as shit scared about what the car was doing. Got to a servo of the expresway. Gave it a thourough go over. Coulnd'nt find anything. Limp it home. Spend the next few days trying to find problem. Take to a CV joint specialist. They spent about and hour looking it over. Nothing wrong. You know what it was in the end. The front engine mount. One bolt gone. One bolt sheered off and the 3rd bolt had worked ts way loose and had about 3 turns to go before it fell out. Heap of SHIT OH YEH.
