lately my gem hasnt been starting real crash hot. it will crank over with the battery fine but wont fire. you do it for 5 secs...stop....5secs....stop and then after a few tries it starts when you have your foot on the accel. and you turn the key off..
does anyone know whats causing it?
all spark plugs are good and all that.

Could be your points in the distributor, they are not opening up, you made need to set them again,
the rotor button?
what about fuel?? is there any in your filters?
