my 79 TE has a small prob with its lighting system.
whenever i activate the hazard lights, the horn goes, well, apeshit. i currently have all this disconnected, but if anyone knows how to rectify this, it would be greatly appreciated.
i ask cos i got pulled over last night and had a cop go over every inch of my car. i didnt get done, but its got me worried. [car has about 20 things wrong with it...gotta love lazy cops..]
as far as i can tell, there are no exposed wires, or other shorting, [that can be seen].
so yeah, if youve had this problem, or know how to fix it, itd be great.
thanks heaps.

Hey Rob,
Possible solutions:
1. The loom to the colum is damaged? or connected incorrectly?
2. the plastic centre which contains the horn contacts and the indcators and the harard light is damaged, has some fitted a sports wheel? pull the steering wheel off and have a look?
cheers
