does anyone know if it would be possible to put an rb25det from a 95 skyline in a td stationwagon? my mate has a spare one in his shed and said he would sell it to me for $1500 and a slab of Woodstocks Smile. I have seen the 350 chev in a gem so im guessing it is possible? youd have to get it engeneered and put larger breaks on it as well wouldnt you?

Yeah it should fit,

you may need to check the engine length, and engine bay avaliable space, I've heard that knocking the firewall back with a sledge hammer usually makes enough room, you may also need to fabricate a new sum, engine mount, gearbox mounts, wiring loom, tailshaft, exhaust, radiator, if you get the gearbox, computer, loom, tailshaft yoke, radiator, manifolds, pretty much the full front 1/2 of the car you will need, then you have a good deal, but it would be easier to put it in a commo thou,

Then you have to upgrade your brakes

cheers

Ive always wanted to try an RB20 in a gemi (maybe my next one). Very good platform and the sound of a tuff six in a gemi certainly does it for me.

As for an RB25, anythings possible.
