In QLD a brake upgrade isn't nesesarry for a G200 upgrade, and we have some of the most stringent and strictest rules in Aust.
There may have been a post that had a link to the N.S.W D.O.T mods posted a few months back. It'd be in pdf format, do a Google search for the N.S.W Transport regulations, or ring your local office for guidance. They're normally pretty cruizy when it comes to people enquiring about legality of mods and required upgrades. They'd much rather you rang and found out first, than go balls first and get done by cops crusing on a Sat night.

In the ACT, it is necessary to engineer a G200, as it exceeds the allowable 15% capacity increase and\or 15% power output increase. Check your local state RTA website, that should give you either the information you need, or give you the contact details for your state's Technical Standards office. It's not completely needed to get a brake upgrade, but at least replace everything with new parts, ie new rotors, rebuilt calipers, new master cylinder etc. Just my thoughts. Cheers Smile
