| does any1 know how you go about selling custom plates in NSW. I have asked my local rta and they dont know and didnt bother to try to find out 4 me. all they said is "u dont own them, u only pay for the right to display them". |

u sell them for $$$ along with trasfer papers, DONT hand over the plates untill the transfer papers are signed

| I thought that most of these plates were non transferable except between family members. do u know if u can get transfer papers online? wonder why the rta didnt know this? |

im in QLD and u "privatly" exchange money for the plates then just trasfer them to another persons name

| plus there is the transfer fees, probably about $30-40. |
