Is $300 to much to pay for a reconditioned G200
Electronic distributor the guy has 2 and thats
what he wants for each of them

well going on what alot have said the 1600 should be the same im sure you can pick one up at the wreckers for alot less ( could be wrong + knowing me i probably am )

Go and try and find a G series electronic dizzy at the wreckers - they're impossible to find. $300 isn't too bad if it's been reco'd. A conversion kit (points to electronic) will cost you about $450.

I got a crane cams 'fireball' conversion kit for $350 but that was mates rates and was about $5 below cost price. So I guess $450 is a more likely price, and this is just for a conversion kit. A proper elec distributer would be better so $300 is sounding pretty good

just bought a Crane Fireball XR-700 'points-to-elec igntion' kit. includes everything you need for the conversion and easy to follow instructions.

Price $286 - off the street (no mates rates)

I'm getting one in a few week and thats only $250 installed but it's a solid state kit not electronic. It still gets rid of your points
