that's weird, had to cut a section out of mine and get a flat bit of alloy welded in, how high do the engines sit that you have seen

you can use the standard intake and exhaust manifolds on the SR, you just have to get a custom dump pipe made to clear.

another way is if you use the rear half of a bluebird gearbox, it will bolt together with the sr box and will move the selector forward so it won't hit.

if your car's clean and tidy then there's no reason why you wouldn't enter it, put it in with the NSW gemini club if you don't want it to be sitting by itself.
