|It is a TF with a TG front, painted in 2K Tiger Mica with 16x7 BSA Wheels lowered with pedders suspension and a custom adjustable panhard rod. The engine is a reco 1800 with a webber, mild cam, and custom made mandrel bent extractors, it also has a 2 ¼ in. exhuast VK commodore radiator and a custom built LSD by Datrally performance. It runs a best E.T of 10.2 / 125 km/h on the 1/8 mile... yet to be run on the ¼ mile. It has a custom black velour int. with some of the dash painted in tiger mica. Stereo is a pioneer deh-6450 head unit and an alpine mrd 500 runs 2 Pheonix Gold XS series subs, whilst an alpine mrv-f350 runs a pair of boston rally 6.5 inch splits in pods in the front doors. It has been the cuase of 3 nose bleeds and has induced vomitting 2 times thus far in the few months i've had it. NICE aye!!
I'm currently building a new engine for it. it's a 2ltr which will run piazza injection with a toyota 4ag-ze blower. I'm hoping to have it ready for easternats, and i will be aiming for a 12 sec ¼ mile and about 140 kW at the rear wheels.
[update 10/2/2003] added a mallory coil and ran a 16.7 1/4 mile work has started on the bottom end for the 2 litre and i'll have some under carriage / engine bay pics in the coming months
[update 21/5/2003] fitted supercharger blowing through the weber with VL fuel pump, malpassi rising boost regulator and turbo smart stage two B.O.V. going on dyno and drag strip soon will update with results.
Garret T3 turbo, custom tuned length exaust manifold, 2.5 inch dump to 2.25 inch exhaust. Vr 4 Jap spec intercooler polished and front mounted. 14 inch thermo fan. 350 cfm Gas research throttle body custom plenium chamber with tuned length trumpeted runners, piazza inlet manifold. A G200 head was also fitted to drop the static comp ratio to an estimated 7.6:1. LG B2 gas convertor supplies the gas. and a wade reground camshaft has also been fitted to suit the turbo application.
currently its only running around 10 PSI boost pressure with an estimated power output of about 120 HP at the wheels but after the setup has been engineered, the engine will be rebuilt using VL turbo pistons and L9 rod bolts with several other mods to the bottom end and head. The boost will be put up to around 18 to 20 PSI and over 200 HP is the power output i'm aiming for. I'm also aiming for a sub 14 sec 1/4 mile E.T.
