| Hi all, recently had a head gasket blow, have had the head serviced etc and replaced back onto the car, only problem is now I am having trouble with the timing chain and markings thereof. When I attempt to start the engine it just winds and winds and doesn't make the typical cranking sound, this I belive is consistent with there being now compression which i've confirmed with my trusty compression tester. I currently have the crank pulley lined up on TDC. Howver on the crankshaft sproket there are two markings a 'circle' and a 'triagle' which goes where? I have a 1975 TX gemini, completely stock. |
