Thanks... you would'nt happen to know of any good mechanics? i was hoping that since i got the engine out of the car instead of fixing it just buy a new engine and build it up from there but i need a good mechanic to do so or some good advice and do it myself, i'd heard of vn motors been put it is that too much trouble?

you can score a Wolf2D Fuel only for like $150-$200 with hadn controller,

or Wolf3D for both fuel and ignition

Where in melbourne are you? You could put a VN engine in if you multiplied your 3k but at least 4.

yer mate Brizzy in the hot hot sun,

i do know of somebody who has one sitting around, but everytime I try and aquire it, he's like 'ahh, ummm'

as this guys does not know how mch they really are, and his supposed 10 sec car needs it??

i just want it if i ever get another gem or similar

Hahaha... i just barely got the 3k to spend... i can get the vn motor eazy it's the engineers cert i'm worried about

wouldnt e that expensive i dont think,

VN long motor - say $800

V6 Fitting kit from Rod Shop - ?? $600

wiring, tailshaft, cooling, modifications to suit - $800???

Tripple Quater Ponders - $6.65

and sell with the DOHC,

Mate, someone on here spent 15k on his car, putting the v6 in and shit, then once he finished no engineer would touch it with a 10 foot pole.

Hmm that sounds affordable, and a good idea... only thing is i've got no time to do it myself and i dont feel that confident so i need a mechanic for it... also what's a vn long motor?

what a bus,

i gots mini lites on mine,

i intend to paint it that XR pelican Blue with the FPV GT stripes underneath,

and my mate is gonna do his orange with the stripes and my gf is gonna do hers Purple with the stripes, i got her plates for chrissy, MAD 440 (white on purple), MAD is her initials, and 440 badge, so works on two levels,

the MK1 FPV Crew

i know of some blokes that spent 3 cartons of RUMO's and a chain, and chained a 253 in a TD sedan,
